The first takes only half an hour, and the second - 10 hours, but it is believed that it is a little healthier, because it preserves absolutely all the beneficial substances. Choose the one you like best. They both result in a decoction that has excellent restorative properties.

  1. Fast way. Pour 4 tablespoons of dry chamomile into 500 ml of filtered water, bring to a boil, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and leave the broth covered for 20-30 minutes. Then strain. Store in a tightly sealed glass container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
  2. 10 hour method. It is convenient to cook in the evening - then the broth will be ready in the morning. Place 4 tablespoons of chamomile in a thermos. Heat half a liter of clean water to 40-50 degrees and pour in the raw materials, close the thermos tightly. After the specified time, strain the broth. Chamomile transferred all its benefits to the water, and the valuable substances were not destroyed by temperature.

The proportions are indicated for rinses and masks with chamomile.   • nourishing mask. Steam 3 tbsp. l. raw materials 250 ml boiling water. After 45 minutes, the infusion is ready. Filter, add 100 g of lanolin. Warm the mixture slightly and spread over the entire length. An excellent product for strengthening curls;
  • against hair loss, for hair growth. Combine a tablespoon of nettle, chamomile, sage, and pour in 150 ml of boiling water. Filter the infused liquid, rub into the root zone, comb along the entire length.

Shampoo with chamomile

It, like chamomile decoction, has the ability to lighten strands. The main thing is to purchase high-quality, undiluted oil. Always check the ingredients of the product carefully before purchasing.

The oil can be used in the following ways:

  1. Add to shampoo before washing your hair. You should not immediately dilute the entire shampoo with it - this will make it liquid and inconvenient to use. Simply squeeze out the amount of shampoo required to wash your hair and mix with 2-3 drops of essential oil.
  2. Enrich balms. In exactly the same way: 2-3 drops per application of the balm.
  3. Replace hair conditioner. Dilute 5-7 drops of oil in 500 ml of water and rinse your hair after washing. The effect will be no worse than after the usual mouthwash. Over time, the curls will become noticeably healthier.
  4. Aroma combing. Apply 3-4 drops to a comb and go through clean strands. Massage the roots, comb the length to the very ends. The shine that appears after this procedure cannot be achieved by any store-bought product.
  5. Enrichment of masks. Both industrial products and home recipes are suitable. The latter are much preferable because they bring more benefits to the hair. For one procedure you need 3 drops of chamomile oil.

How to prepare chamomile infusion?

To prepare a decoction based on chamomile inflorescences that is beneficial for curls, you will need 2 level tablespoons of dried flowers and 250 ml of boiling water. Pour the inflorescences into a glass container, cover and wait 30-40 minutes. After the infusion has cooled to room temperature, apply it evenly to clean, damp hair. Another way to prepare a decoction of chamomile is boiling. This method will significantly save time and eliminate the need to wait 40 minutes for the herbal composition to infuse. Using the same proportions of inflorescences and boiling water as indicated above, place the mixture on the fire or in a water bath. Boil for 5-7 minutes, wait for it to cool and apply to hair using the same principle.

If you want to use a medicinal plant to add color to your hair, take 3-4 heaped tablespoons of dried chamomile flowers, add 200 ml of water, and boil for 10 minutes. If you want to get a rich shade, you can increase the number of dried flowers.

To improve the appearance of natural blonde curls, female representatives can use chamomile in combination with natural liquid honey.
