Treatment of the stomach and intestines by traditional healers

Bee products

Products given to humans by bees increase immunity, improving overall health. Honey and propolis are especially effective in treating stomach ulcers.

Honey

Bee honey reduces gastric acidity

Bee honey, consumed systematically, according to the results of studies, can reduce the acidity of gastric juice in people with ulcers accompanied by high acidity. In addition, honey:

  • eliminates pain syndrome;
  • reduces inflammation and irritation of the gastric mucosa;
  • eliminates nausea and heartburn;
  • increases the level of hemoglobin in the blood;
  • calms the nervous system, relieves the effects of stress, which is a common cause of ulcers.

To cure a peptic ulcer, characterized by increased acidity, dissolve a tablespoon of honey in a glass of warm water, drinking the mixture one and a half hours before the next meal and two hours after. If the acidity is low, honey should be dissolved in cool water. In this case, the secretion of hydrochloric acid will increase. You can be treated this way for up to three weeks, after which you must take a week’s break.

Honey must be taken in combination with other remedies. Only in this case can you count on a lasting effect.

Propolis

Propolis is considered the most effective remedy in the fight against the bacterium Helicobacter Pylori that causes ulcers.

This miraculous bee glue is prescribed by doctors to eliminate stomach inflammation, including ulcers. Propolis is considered the most effective remedy in the fight against the bacterium Helicobacter Pylori that causes ulcers.

Benefits of propolis alcohol tincture:

  • has a powerful antimicrobial effect;
  • heals damage;
  • relieves spasms and pain;
  • gently reduces acidity;
  • Envelops the walls of the stomach with a film, protecting against chemical irritation due to increased acidity.

At first, a 10% tincture is used, which should be taken three times a day 30-35 minutes before meals, dissolving 50 drops in half a glass of water or milk. If the treatment does not cause discomfort, then after a week you can switch to 20% of the drug. The duration of the course will be from one to two months.

What to do at home

If your gastrointestinal tract suddenly becomes ill, there are several methods that can be used to make you feel better at home.

However, it is worth knowing that home remedies have a high risk of worsening the condition. They are used only if you are completely confident in the doctor’s diagnosis. In case of severe attacks that do not subside for more than half an hour, the following is contraindicated:

  • warm the abdominal area with a hot heating pad, take a bath, as this can lead to internal bleeding, rupture of the inflamed intestine, perforation of the ulcer and death;
  • give water and medicine if you suspect a perforation of the ulcer, which is accompanied by profuse sweat, vomiting, severe panic, and after that - a false improvement in the condition.

Non-drug ways to relieve an attack

With an accurate diagnosis, the following methods of relieving unpleasant sensations are allowed:

  • If the diagnosis of “pancreatitis” has been established, then during an exacerbation it is allowed to apply ice to the pancreas area, since this slows down the development of acute inflammation, with refusal to eat for a day or two. You need to drink water.
  • In case of exacerbation of gastritis, urgent home help consists of rinsing the epigastrium (if the diagnosis of acute gastritis is beyond doubt) with a solution of baking soda (a teaspoon per liter of water).

Acute sudden attacks in the abdomen are a common symptom of threatening diseases of internal organs: heart, liver, gall bladder, rupture of the cecum filled with pus, perforation of the epigastrium due to an ulcer, internal bleeding. In such cases, the first thing you need to do, without wasting a minute, is to urgently call an ambulance.

Treatment of stomach ulcers

Uncomplicated peptic ulcer disease is usually treated conservatively.

First of all, the doctor will recommend a diet - table No. 1. Food should be as gentle as possible on the damaged mucous membrane and not provoke excessively active production of hydrochloric acid. Therefore, strong broths, spices, marinades, smoked meats, pickles, citrus fruits, carbonated drinks and alcohol of any strength are excluded from the diet.

Particularly recommended are dishes that help bind and neutralize hydrochloric acid: dairy products, eggs, boiled or steamed lean meat, lean fish.

Pasta, porridge, potatoes, carrots and zucchini, boiled or pureed, are allowed. You can include soups based on milk or vegetable broths (vegetarian). Desserts include jelly, jelly, mousse, baked apples. Bread – only stale bread (crackers), dry cookies are allowed. Drinks allowed include cocoa with milk and weak tea.

Drug therapy for gastric ulcers is aimed at destroying Helicobacter and restoring the mucous membrane. To eradicate Helicobacter, a complex of two types of antibiotics and a proton pump inhibitor is prescribed. Such “heavy artillery” is necessary because the bacterium is very resistant to any external influences. To enhance the effectiveness of treatment, bismuth tripotassium dicitrate is added to the regimen.

In parallel, you can restore the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract using a gastroenteroprotector based on rebamipide. Not only does it not “come into conflict” with other drugs, but it also enhances eradication therapy. This means that healing will occur much faster and with greater efficiency.

The basis of Table No. 1 is dishes that help bind and neutralize hydrochloric acid

Rebamipide promotes the healing of erosions and ulcers, restores the integrity of the mucous membrane, and enhances the protective properties of mucus. The drug “glues” the torn cells of the mucous membrane, and unpleasant symptoms - pain, heartburn, nausea, sour belching - go away. Therefore, doctors call rebamipide the basis of pathogenetic therapy for diseases of the digestive system.

To reduce the amount of hydrochloric acid in gastric juice, it is recommended:

  • proton pump inhibitors (omeprazole, lansoprazole, pantoprazole) - reduce the activity of acid-producing glands;
  • H2-blockers (cimetidine, ranitidine, famotidine) – if there are contraindications to the use of proton pump inhibitors or they were not effective enough;
  • antacids, or agents that neutralize hydrochloric acid - as an auxiliary therapy and to quickly reduce pain.
