The healing properties of walnut partitions

Composition and beneficial properties of walnut partitions

Content

The walnut is valued not only for its taste, it is incredibly healthy in its entirety: its shell, its greens (leaves), and the internal thin partitions located between the parts of the pulp. The healing power of these “membranes” was used in ancient times: the partitions were dried and crushed into powder, which was sprinkled on wounds for disinfection. The pronounced antibacterial effect is due to the content of antioxidants, tannins, minerals and vitamins in the raw materials.

Speaking of vitamins, it should be noted that the partitions contain a high concentration of ascorbic acid. There are also B vitamins and nicotinic acid. Partitions are rich in potassium and magnesium, but they also contain a lot of iodine.

Iodine is an important element for the proper functioning of the hormone “synthesizer” in our body – the thyroid gland. A deficiency of the element leads to hypofunction of the thyroid gland, causing all organs and systems to suffer.

What do walnut partitions help with?

Normalizing the functioning of the thyroid gland is the most common goal for which treatment with walnut partitions is taken. High results are achieved in the treatment of this pathology, which is popularly called nodular goiter. However, this is not all that walnut partitions are useful for.

Using them for health purposes allows you to:

  • • improve the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract;
  • • improve heart function and vascular condition;
  • • strengthen reproductive health;
  • • cope with oncology at its initial stage of development;

In addition, the antiseptic properties of the partitions successfully make it possible to use water infusions or alcohol-containing tinctures based on them for the treatment of stomatitis and other inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity, in gynecology, and in the treatment of wounds.

The presence of such substances in the composition of the plant product suggests the ability of the healing drug to protect the cells of the human body from damage by free radicals. As a result, the use of a medicine from the internal inedible contents of the walnut prevents the appearance of cancer and even leads to the resorption of tumors: both benign and malignant.

Walnut partitions: medicinal properties and contraindications

The use of partitions for medicinal and therapeutic purposes should only begin after a thorough examination and in agreement with the attending physician. You cannot strictly use the product:

  • • children and teenagers;
  • • women during pregnancy and lactation;
  • • if hyperthyroidism is diagnosed (increased activity of the thyroid gland);
  • • in case of intolerance to the components of medicines based on this raw material.

High iodine content in the septum can cause significant harm if the thyroid gland is overactive. And without examination, it is clear that hyperthyroidism is observed in people diagnosed with Graves' disease, Plummer's disease, thyroiditis and some others. It is recommended that before starting treatment, consult an endocrinologist and check hormone levels in the laboratory.

For men

The fame of the walnut as a panacea for male impotence and genitourinary diseases is deserved. Useful are kernels with honey, tincture based on milky ripe nuts, infusions of shells - there are many recipes. Partitions will also come in handy in this matter. The bioactive components of the product contribute to:

  • • relieving inflammation in the pelvic organs;
  • • maintaining prostate health;
  • • increasing potency.

The easiest recipe to prepare, including walnut partitions for prostatitis: mix kernels, dried walnut partitions, pumpkin seeds (pre-grind in a coffee grinder) and honey in equal proportions. Take a teaspoon in three daily doses for 1-3 months.

For women

No wonder they say that all diseases come from nerves! Walnut septa are very rich in magnesium, which has a beneficial effect on the nervous system. Taking homemade preparations based on this natural remedy helps get rid of stress and depression, forget about insomnia, and cope with irritability. The composition of partitions, rich in vitamin and mineral components, is also appreciated by cosmetology: with the addition of raw materials, excellent decoctions, hair rinses, body and face scrubs are made.

Thanks to the tincture on nut partitions, you can without much effort:

  • • reduce the risk and reduce the size of existing tumors in the mammary glands;
  • • recover from uterine fibroids;
  • • minimize the manifestations of menopause;
  • • normalize the functioning of the thyroid gland and restore hormonal levels.

Under no circumstances should you take the drug during pregnancy: high iodine concentration can cause miscarriage!

For diabetes

Diabetes mellitus is “afraid” of walnuts, and its partitions in particular. You cannot expect a quick result: the therapeutic effect is visible with regular use of partitions in combination with traditional medicine. The active substances in the partitions contribute to the following:

  • • blood sugar levels decrease;
  • • specific diabetic symptoms such as thirst and hunger disappear;
  • • the patient's overall well-being improves.

Zinc and manganese, present in impressive concentrations in the partitions, play a valuable role in the treatment of diabetes. These elements regulate the synthesis of hormones produced by the pancreas.

There is more than one option for using walnut partitions in antidiabetic therapy. Usually a water infusion or an alcohol tincture is prepared.

  1. The first option involves cooking over low heat partitions of five dozen nuts, poured with a quarter liter of boiling water (a glass) for 50-60 minutes. Then the broth is allowed to cool and filtered through cheesecloth. Take half a teaspoon of infusion before meals three times a day. The course lasts a month. After a month of break, treatment is repeated if necessary.
  2. The alcohol variation is done like this: 0.5 liters of vodka is poured into half a glass of partitions and left for a couple of weeks. Then the tincture is filtered and taken by analogy with an aqueous infusion.

For mastopathy

Mastopathy is considered the most common disease of the mammary glands, which occurs most often in women after 30 years of age. The disease is characterized by the proliferation of connective tissue of the gland with the formation of nodules, accompanied by pain and often discharge from the nipples. Mastopathy is provoked by a hormonal imbalance, when the level of estrogen jumps and progesterone “falls”. Prolactin is also involved in the pathological process if its concentration increases.

Treatment of the disease is aimed mainly at eliminating the factors that provoke tissue proliferation and the formation of nodes, restoring hormonal balance and eliminating associated (often also provoking the process) gynecological problems.

For thyroid

The iodine content in the walnut kernels themselves is negligible, but in the partitions of this trace element there is quite a lot, so these parts of the fruit are actively used in folk medicine as a means to restore the functions of the thyroid gland.

For nodes on the gland, take an infusion of septum in vodka. Twice daily use of 20 ml at each dose is continued for three weeks, then a break is taken and the course approach is repeated.

For hypothyroidism, this tincture regimen is effective: 15 ml of the drug three times a day for a month. Then a 10-day break and repeat of the course is possible.

Infusion and decoction of walnut partitions

Walnut partitions can be prepared using a water base. The taste of infusions and decoctions is not the most pleasant delicacy, but it is very effective for a list of ailments:

  • • diarrhea;
  • • infectious eye diseases (conjunctivitis, for example);
  • • diseases of the genitourinary system.

Preparing the drug does not take much time. You will need suitable utensils - an enamel saucepan. The partitions are filled with hot water in a ratio of 1:4, brought to a boil and kept over medium heat for about 10 minutes. The color of the finished decoction resembles strong black tea. It is allowed to cool and filtered. How to take walnut partitions in the form of a decoction:

  • • for diarrhea, take up to 5 times a day before meals in a volume equal to a tablespoon;
  • • for conjunctivitis – in the form of lotions for 20-30 minutes;
  • • in cases of inflammation of the pelvic organs - a glass of infusion per day 3 times for 7-14 days.

It is better to prepare a fresh infusion daily; do not use one that is more than 48 hours old, even externally.

Use of tincture in medicine

In official medicine, tincture of membranes is used for swelling, pain and inflammatory processes in the muscles. Therapy is mainly carried out by rubbing the sore spot. Rubbing also helps with joint diseases, rheumatism and arthritis. Treatment is carried out along with medication. Rubbing is done 2-3 times a day for 14 days. After 1–2 months, therapy is repeated.

A contraindication to this procedure is the presence of skin diseases accompanied by rashes or purulent wounds. Walnut septums can be included in preparations for the treatment of neuroses and conditions after a stroke.

  • Their use is also indicated for symptoms such as:
  • anxiety;
  • insomnia;
  • prostration;
  • dizziness;
  • migraine caused by iodine deficiency.

The drug is prescribed depending on the complexity of the disease. Typically, the course of treatment lasts at least 30 days with 1-2 doses of the drug per day, 5-10 drops. Contraindications for internal use are personal intolerance to the components, as well as diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, poor blood clotting.

Tincture on walnut partitions with vodka

Alcohol infusions-tinctures of medicines are more convenient to use than water-containing analogues, since they do not require constant preparation: the tincture lasts for a long period, the consumption of the product is more economical, and the therapeutic effect is higher due to the fact that the maximum benefit of the raw material is extracted into alcohol, and Valuable microelements are not subject to destruction, as with thermal exposure.

It is recommended to infuse nut partitions with high-quality vodka. Classic “forty degrees” is the best option for preparing a useful medicine. Connoisseurs of homemade alcoholic beverages often take vodka on partitions simply as a strong drink, but this is not recommended, since a high concentration of biologically active components can play a not very pleasant joke on their health.

Preparing the tincture is simple:

  • • the partitions are crushed with a knife:
  • • if there is any doubt about their purity, scald with boiling water and allow the liquid to drain;
  • • pour vodka in a ratio of liquid to raw materials of 1:3;
  • • infuse in a dark place where the temperature is maintained close to room temperature for 2 weeks.

During the infusion period, the container with the tincture needs to be shaken several times (every 3-4 days is enough). The best container for preparing medicine is a dark glass bottle with a screw cap.

Since you need to drink walnuts in a course, you should make sure that the tincture is enough for a couple of months of continuous daily use. The dosage is 15 drops per dose; the tincture can be diluted with water.

Possible harm

The benefits can easily be turned into harm if you do not follow the recommended dosages and exceed them. Like any medicine, walnut partitions have a number of limitations.

Contraindications for the use of walnut partitions:

  • if there is an individual allergy to this type of nut;
  • in case of severe forms of dermatitis, severe skin eczema;
  • gastritis (acute, chronic form);
  • tendency to constipation;
  • pregnancy, lactation period.

Also, most products with nuts are contraindicated for children, especially those prepared with alcohol. Such tinctures should be used with caution by drivers and those who work with machinery.

Tincture on walnut partitions on moonshine

Moonshine is a very good alcoholic base for homemade tincture on nut partitions. The drink is taken for medicinal purposes for colds and insomnia: it has a spicy taste and aroma, as it contains additional components. For a liter of strong moonshine (50-55%) take:

  • • 2 cups of walnut partitions;
  • • cloves – 3 pcs.;
  • • cinnamon stick;
  • • liquid honey – 50 g.

Honey, heated in a water bath, is poured into a container for infusion, where the spices are already stored - this way the aroma will be more distinct. Then add the crushed partitions and pour in the moonshine. Having sealed it tightly, the container is removed to a place suitable for infusion. After 2 weeks, the tincture is filtered. Take 15-20 drops orally, can be added to tea or used for external rubbing, for example, for radiculitis.

Walnut tincture with alcohol: application

A medicinal tincture made from nut membranes using alcohol is prepared in the same way as a vodka tincture. In this case, you can take strong alcohol - up to 90%, but then when using the finished tincture, it will have to be diluted correctly to avoid burns to the mucous membrane of the mouth and esophagus. In this case, it is better to give preference to medical alcohol. The concentrated tincture is prepared as follows: per 100 ml of undiluted alcohol, take the partitions of 25 nuts. Infuse in a dark place at room temperature for 2 weeks. Before use internally, the filtered tincture is diluted with water 1:1.

Iodine deficiency, inflammatory and cold diseases, oncology, mastopathy - this is not a complete list of ailments for which walnut partitions can help. The medicinal properties and contraindications of drugs based on them should be taken into account, and they should be used for health improvement only after consulting a specialist.
