The tincture for sinusitis is used in combination with an isotonic sodium chloride solution (1 to 10). It is used 2 times a day for 2 weeks.

To treat and strengthen hair, use an alcohol tincture, which is applied after washing your hair. The product does not need to be washed off. For maximum effect, it is recommended to use it every day or every other day.

Preparing propolis tincture with alcohol is a fairly simple task. Propolis dissolves in pure medical alcohol (ratio 1 to 10). That is, for 10 g you need 100 ml of alcohol. Before preparing propolis tincture, it is advisable to grind it well, for example, using a grater. The mixture is boiled in a water bath for about 60 minutes, it must be constantly stirred with a wooden spoon. After this, you need to strain the propolis extract and put it in a cold place.

Making your own with alcohol

As practice shows, most people still prefer to make the medicine at home. In this case, it is very important to follow the cooking algorithm so as not to ultimately harm the body.

Two recipes are classic. The first involves preparing propolis with alcohol, the second with vodka. It is not recommended to use moonshine. It contains a large number of harmful impurities, in particular fusel oils, which neutralize the healing effect.

To prepare liquid with alcohol, you need to prepare:

• A piece of propolis weighing 80 g.
• A 0.5 liter bottle made of dark glass.
• 300 ml medical alcohol.

Algorithm for preparing the tincture:

• The first stage is cleansing. You need to take the raw meat and place it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. Propolis is a rather plastic substance that is very difficult to grind. In order for it to harden, it must be placed in the refrigerator. Then the propolis must be crushed using a grater. The resulting chips should be filled with water and allowed to brew for 5 minutes. During this time, the bee glue will settle at the bottom, and foreign impurities will float to the surface. The latter must be removed. The purified product must be dried after draining the water.
• Mixing. Place the resulting raw materials in a previously prepared bottle. Fill it with medical alcohol. Close the bottle tightly and shake the contents.
• Infusion. The bottle with liquid must be placed in a place where the sun's rays do not penetrate. Let it brew for 2 weeks. Shake the contents daily.
• The final stage is filtration. After infusion, the liquid must be strained using gauze cloth and poured into dark glass bottles.

The resulting product can be stored for up to 3 years, but provided that the containers are kept away from sunlight. Some experts argue that the liquid has its maximum degree of effectiveness only in the first year.

Cooking with vodka

This method is suitable for those for whom purchasing alcohol is difficult, because you can only buy it with a doctor’s prescription. Vodka tincture also has a powerful healing effect. It is important to know that only high-quality alcohol-containing drinks without foreign impurities can be used for preparation.

The first stage is also the grinding and purification of raw materials. Then you need to pour 0.5 liters of vodka into an enamel bowl and heat it in a water bath. After this, you need to add 100 g of pre-cleaned and dried propolis shavings to the container. Heat and stir the liquid until the bee glue is completely dissolved. Do not bring the product to a boil. The resulting liquid should be immediately filtered using gauze. Then the tincture must be cooled and poured into dark glass bottles.

To prepare a 10% tincture you will need 50 g of propolis and 450 ml of alcohol. Alcohol with a concentration of 70% is best suited - in this case, the solution will be extremely healing, and all the beneficial substances will be transferred into the tincture. You can also take vodka - then the solution will be less concentrated:

• Freeze the prepared propolis in the freezer (for about 2 hours), remove and grate;
• Fill the resulting crumbs with water, also chilled. After stirring and 5 minutes, pure propolis will settle to the bottom, and debris (wax and other impurities) will appear on the surface;
• Drain the water with impurities, and dry the resulting purified propolis thoroughly;
• Place dry crushed propolis in a bottle and fill with alcohol or vodka;
• Seal tightly and place in a dark place at room temperature;
• Shake the bottle every morning to stir the mixture;
• After 14 days, filter the darkened alcohol into a dark glass container - your medicine is ready.

You can store it not in a dark container, but without access to light. The sun's rays have a detrimental effect not only on microorganisms, but also on some beneficial substances.

You can prepare the tincture in a quick way. For this:

• heat the prepared vodka in a water bath to 50°C;
• pour crushed and peeled propolis into it;
• stir the mixture until the bee glue is completely dissolved;
• filter the solution into a dark glass container - the tincture is ready.

Important! The concentration of the solution can be different: from 5 to 50%. Usually a 10 or 20% tincture is used for treatment, but this is purely individual. If you experience discomfort when taking it, the dose should be reduced or the tincture should be diluted with alcohol.

An alternative solution for people who cannot drink alcohol may be:

• Water tincture. Add 50 g of purified crushed bee glue to 100 ml of boiled water heated in a water bath to 80°C. Without boiling, heat for an hour, then leave for 6 hours, filter and pour into a dark glass bottle. This product can be stored for no longer than 3 months. in a refrigerator;
• Milk tincture. To prepare, add 2 tbsp to 0.5 liters of milk. l. propolis powder, heat in a water bath until dissolved, then cool slightly. Remove the wax film from the surface (if the propolis is unrefined) and filter into a dark glass bottle. Because of the milk, such a solution is not stored for long and only in the refrigerator;
• Oil preparation. To obtain a medicinal composition, mix alcohol tincture and sea buckthorn oil in equal parts, then simmer in a water bath until the alcohol completely evaporates. Store this product in the refrigerator and use it to treat external damage.

To treat radiculitis, in addition to propolis tincture (30%), you will need additional ingredients, namely:

2. sunflower oil
3. mustard plaster

The healing mixture is prepared according to the following recipe:

• Take all 3 ingredients 1 tablespoon each (or 2 if you need a larger amount), mix, apply to the mustard plaster and apply to the back.
• The mustard plaster needs to be fixed with something, for example, a bandage or adhesive tape.

You can use another option.

Prepare a warming ointment. You will need:

• red pepper tincture in the amount of 1 teaspoon (sold in pharmacies)
• glycerin – 1 teaspoon

• propolis tincture 30 percent – ​​1 teaspoon
• Clove essential oil – no more than 3-4 drops
• red pepper (extract) – 0.5 teaspoon

Recipe:

• We take all the components in the indicated proportions, mix and heat in a water bath until everything is completely dissolved.
• The resulting ointment is applied to the sore back, covered with cling film or a plastic bag and wrapped in a shawl. Such procedures need to be done once a day, at night.

Important! This recipe cannot be used if you have cuts, abrasions or festering boils on the skin!

For dental disease

Often a situation may arise when a severe toothache occurs, and it is not possible to visit a dentist. In this case, an alcohol tincture of propolis can serve as a pain reliever.

The best option is rinsing. Proportions: 0.5 cups of warm boiled water, 0.5 teaspoons of propolis tincture. The frequency of rinsing can be any, until the pain stops completely.

Periodontal disease is treated by simply applying a cotton swab soaked in propolis tincture.

To treat stomatitis, it is better to buy special propolis oil or other products based on bee glue at the pharmacy (Heliant Kalinyak, HP Tentorium or analogues).
