Is it possible to cure basal cell carcinoma at home?

Types of disease

There are the following types of skin basal cell carcinoma:

  • adenoid - has a cystic structure and looks like lace;
  • nodular - most often affects the eyelids and nasolabial folds;
  • sclerodermiform basal cell carcinoma changes shape as it grows and transforms from a node into a rounded flat plaque with smooth edges;
  • Spiegler's tumor - is a cluster of pink-violet nodules covered with scales;
  • nodular nodular - a pigmented node with scalloped edges, covered with spider veins;
  • verrucous - very similar to a wart and does not damage surrounding tissues;
  • pagetoid superficial - has the shape of an oval or circle with nodules in the form of a border. The center is covered with scales and slightly depressed;
  • perforating – characterized by rapid growth and develops on an injured area of skin;
  • cicatricial-atrophic - is a node with an ulcer in the middle. As it grows, it forms the same nodes with erosions along the edges. This type of basal cell carcinoma is capable of penetrating deep into the affected organ, destroying cartilage and bone tissue;
  • pigmented - a tumor about 4 cm in diameter from pale pink to dark brown. Has a “pearl” edging.

Skin basalioma does not occur in childhood and adolescence, but can develop in young people who work for a long time under the bright sun (builders, road workers, fishermen).

Traditional methods of treating skin cancer using medicinal weeds

There are a huge number of plants around us, the names of which we do not know and do not even pay attention to them, perceiving them as weeds. But many of them have enough power to treat many diseases. Let's look at the most effective ones.

Woodlice or chickweed is medium. The plant, which is considered a weed and is common in vegetable gardens and orchards, can help with many ailments; it is used for diseases of the liver, heart, respiratory system, and woodlice can regulate blood pressure, treat hemorrhoids, goiter and, of course, skin pathologies, including and malignant tumors:

  1. 20% of the volume of alcohol content is added to the juice of a fresh plant, after which it is used as an application to ulcerated areas;
  2. Five tablespoons of woodlice are poured into 0.5 liters of boiling water, cooled and applied as bandages on the affected areas of the skin until the compress is completely dry. Repeat every four hours.;
  3. Another folk remedy for skin cancer is made from thistle. The inflorescences of the herb are crushed and dried, then poured with alcohol in a ratio of 1:5, left for two weeks, after which it can be used as applications to wounds or internally (1 teaspoon 3 times a day, before meals) if metastases are detected;
  4. You can also use pure thistle juice; the plant is washed and ground in a meat grinder, after which the juice is squeezed out and applied as compresses to cancerous ulcers.

In addition to soda, celandine and various weeds, traditional medicine knows the secrets of numerous recipes that can affect cancer cells:

  • the root of the plantain plant is crushed to a dusty state and mixed with salicylic acid, used in the form of tampons on the affected areas of the epithelium;
  • Indian onion. Two tablespoons of this plant are mixed with a tube of ten percent synthomycin ointment. Used as a compress, the ointment is applied to the cancerous ulcer and wrapped with a sterile bandage. You need to be with such a compress constantly, changing the bandage, removing the old ointment and applying a new one once a day for 20-25 days. This folk treatment for skin cancer is contraindicated in cases of stage 4 disease, as well as if there are mucous membranes nearby or individual metastases have been identified;
  • plantain leaves are crushed to a pasty state and applied to the affected area for several hours.

Causes

The reasons that provoke the appearance of malignant basal cell carcinoma include the following factors:

  • prolonged exposure to ultraviolet rays on the skin;
  • working with substances that have carcinogenic properties (dyes, arsenic, gasoline);
  • irradiation
  • skin diseases (psoriasis, keratosis, nevi);
  • smoking
  • hereditary predisposition;
  • disruption of immune processes;
  • damage to healed wounds.

Infection in a fresh cut or scrape can also cause swelling. Blue-eyed people with light skin tone after 60 years are more susceptible to the appearance of pathology.

Treatment of skin cancer with sublimate and mumiyo:

  • mercuric chloride must be diluted in a concentration of 1:1,000, then diluted another 4 times. Drink 1 teaspoon 3 times a day, the next day - a dessert spoon, on the third - a tablespoon, and so on 1 tbsp. spoon 3 times a day until the end of the course. The course is 10 days, then a 10-day break, and again the course. During breaks, drink mumiyo. There are 5 courses in total. Then 2 weeks break and 3 courses of 80 days;
  • Shilajit for cancer treatment: 2 gr. Dilute mumiyo in 500 ml. grape juice, heating in a water bath to 70 degrees. Drink 50 grams every morning on an empty stomach. mumiyo solution. The course of treatment is 10 days. Skin cancer can also be treated by washing the wound with a 10% salt solution and making bandages with the same solution, not allowing them to dry. Alternate salt dressings with dressings with sublimate solution. Lubricate the skin around the wound with hemlock ointment, and apply 30% Balynin ointment to the wound itself.

Naturally, skin cancer cannot be contagious, since the disease is not a virus, but arises as a result of changes in the structure of the cell’s DNA and is not transmitted through touch, airborne droplets, etc. Therefore, strangers can carry out manipulations in the form of bandages, compresses and lotions without worrying about their health.

The list of possible remedies in the treatment of skin cancer using folk remedies is so extensive, so only a person specializing in this field can choose the appropriate ones, since each type of tumor can be more or less sensitive to one or another remedy.

Signs of basal cell carcinoma

Many people do not pay attention to nodules or pimples that appear on the skin until these formations begin to grow and change shape.

The main signs of skin basal cell carcinoma appear as follows:

  • round plaques, nodes or small spots appear on the skin;
  • erosions and ulcers form on the plaques, which can bleed;
  • the color and shape of the neoplasm changes, itching may occur;
  • nodes and spots change size and grow.

The disease develops over a long period of time and as the diameter of the tumor increases, several stages of basal cell carcinoma are distinguished:

  1. Stage 1 – formations are no larger than 2 cm in size. No erosions or ulcers are observed.
  2. Stage 2 – plaques reach 5 cm in diameter. Ulcers appear.
  3. Stage 3 is the last terminal stage. The neoplasm exceeds 10 cm in size and grows deeply into the organs.
  4. Stage 4 is characterized by damage to cartilage and bone tissue.

At stages 3 and 4, extensive destruction of tissues and lymph nodes is detected, and associated complications appear.

What is basalioma?

A tumor that develops in the basal layer of the skin epithelium is called basal cell carcinoma; it is a benign formation. Under certain conditions, it can develop into a malignant tumor .
The most effective method for eliminating it is irradiation, but it affects all organs and systems. To avoid harm to the body, basal cell carcinoma is often treated using folk remedies. Basalioma can be treated with folk remedies, but it is best to use alternative medicine as an auxiliary method to conventional therapy. Plants available to everyone are used. The only condition in many cases is the daily preparation of the drug. It is not recommended to store prepared decoctions and tinctures.

Complications

Basalioma in its advanced form is dangerous due to its destructive effects on surrounding tissues and organs. Growing and going deeper into the damaged organ, the neoplasm can destroy muscles, cartilage and bones.

Depending on the location, the tumor can completely destroy the nose or ear, damage the eyeball or lymph nodes. Having reached the bones of the skull, it can pose a danger of damage to the meninges, which can result in death.

Stages of disease development

Advanced stage of the disease
The stages of the disease are determined by the size of the tumor and how affected the surrounding lymph nodes are. The following classification is accepted:

  • First stage. The size of the neoplasm does not exceed 2 cm.
  • Second stage. The pathological area measures from 2 to 5 cm.
  • Third stage. The size of the tumor can vary, and the surrounding soft tissues are affected.
  • Fourth stage. Damage to tissue structures, lymph nodes, destruction of cartilage and bones.

Traditional treatment

Skin basal cell carcinoma is diagnosed based on a visual examination and using histological and cytological studies of scrapings from the plaque.

The most effective treatment method is surgical removal of the tumor. The operation is performed under local anesthesia. In the case of significant growth of the tumor deep into the tissue, the tumor is first irradiated and removed, capturing a small area of healthy tissue.

Additionally, the following treatment methods are used:

  1. Painless removal of basal cell carcinoma with laser. A single session of laser exposure to the tumor is required to evaporate it from the surface of the skin. A crust forms at the site of the neoplasm, which falls off in 7-10 days. This is a bloodless and painless method that does not leave significant scars and does not require long recovery.
  2. The radiation therapy method requires treatment for 4 weeks and can cause complications such as migraines, skin and eye pathologies.
  3. The fewest relapses occur after tumor removal with liquid nitrogen. Cryodestruction is performed under local anesthesia on an outpatient basis. Ideal for pregnant women and patients using pacemakers.
  4. Photodynamic therapy is another modern method of influencing malignant tumors. After intravenous administration of a special drug to the patient, which accumulates in the tumor cells, the basal cell carcinoma is treated with a laser, which leads to the death of the formation cells. Usually the procedure does not take much time and relapses do not occur after such therapy.

Chemotherapy or drug treatment using interferons, retinoids, and topical ointments may also be used.

Treatment of skin cancer with celandine

Celandine has long been used to treat various oncological pathologies. Its components can inhibit the growth of certain cancer cells, as well as eliminate pain. Celandine should be used with extreme caution, as the plant is poisonous.

The following options for ointments based on celandine are possible:

  • Mix ten grams in equal proportions:
  1. celandine (powder);
  2. lanolin;
  3. petrolatum;
  4. carboxylic acid (10 drops, 0.25% solution).

All components are combined, mixed thoroughly and the resulting ointment is applied to the affected area of the body, twice a day.

  • Fresh leaves of the plant are washed with boiled water, crushed using a meat grinder and squeezed through gauze to obtain celandine juice. Depending on the resulting amount, 25% alcohol by volume of the contents is added to the juice. Used in the form of compresses on cancerous wounds, after diluting with distilled water, in a ratio of one part tincture and five parts water.
  • Also, celandine juice is mixed with baby cream or Vaseline in a ratio of 1:4 and applied to the affected areas.
  • Another option for lotions based on celandine is the following tincture:
  1. 5 tbsp. spoons of celandine (fresh or dry leaves and grass stems);
  2. 3 tbsp. spoons: sweet clover, meadow clover, laxative joster;
  3. 2 tbsp. spoons: carrot seeds, agrimony, ivy grass.

Mix all the herbs, take two tablespoons from the resulting mixture and pour one and a half liters of boiling water, leave and strain. Apply as lotions to affected areas of the skin.

In addition to external use, infusions of celandine can be taken internally; they are especially helpful in the presence of metastases, but this must be done strictly according to the prescription due to the high toxicity of the herb.

  • One hundred grams of dried celandine roots, previously crushed, are poured with half a liter of alcohol and infused in a dark place for two weeks. The resulting tincture is consumed 5-6 drops three times a day.

Herbal treatment

It is not so easy to cure basal cell carcinoma at home; often the tumor cannot be eliminated with folk remedies. The classic scheme involves removing the tumor surgically, with laser beams or by freezing with liquid nitrogen. After this, a course of restorative therapy using antibiotics and other drugs is prescribed. You can use herbal medicines yourself:

  1. Celandine juice is considered a universal remedy for any pathology of the skin. When used correctly, it suppresses tumor growth and cell division, and prevents spread to healthy tissue. The method can only be used in the summer, since only fresh plant juice is needed for therapy. It is necessary to chop the stem along with the leaves, squeeze out the juice using gauze, and treat the new growth 2 to 5 times a day, trying to avoid contact with healthy areas. The duration of use is individual, usually 10 days is enough.
  2. An ointment based on celandine and burdock leaves is also effective. It can be prepared from melted pork fat in the amount of 150 g, 30 g of celandine, 30 g of burdock. The herbs must be chopped, placed in a metal or other container, and poured with hot fat. Place the composition in the oven for 2 hours at 150 degrees. Cool the finished medicine and use it every 8 hours to treat the lesion. The duration of therapy is no more than 7 days.
  3. Golden mustache is often used to treat dermatological pathologies. When basal cell carcinoma appears, it is recommended to use the juice of the plant. Grind several large leaves, squeeze out the juice, soak a cotton swab or disk in it, and apply to the tumor for a day. Repeat until the tumor disappears. Usually 5-7 procedures are enough.

Treating basalioma with folk remedies is allowed only after consulting a specialist, since in some cases plants and other ingredients can provoke complications, infection of the wound surface, and an allergic reaction.

Prevention

Preventive measures to reduce the risk of skin basal cell carcinoma and prevent its further development are aimed at adjusting the diet and following certain rules:

  1. Products that can inhibit the development of malignant cells should appear on the menu more often. These are beets, garlic, hot peppers and carrots. The consumption of fresh greens and cabbage of various types should also be regular.
  2. The basis of the diet should be cereal dishes (porridge and side dishes).
  3. All dishes should be prepared by steaming or stewing, excluding frying in oil.
  4. Early vegetables should be avoided due to the accumulation of large amounts of nitrates in them.
  5. Avoid alcoholic beverages, smoked and pickled foods. Homemade preparations containing vinegar and excess salt should also be forgotten.
  6. Pastries and sweets are prohibited, as are fatty dairy products, cocoa and coffee.
  7. You should limit your exposure to the sun and visits to the solarium. If there is a need to stay under the scorching rays for a long time, you should use sunscreen.
  8. Be careful with healed wounds and avoid damaging them. Carefully heal fresh scratches and abrasions.

If possible, limit contact with chemicals and toxic substances. If work involves flammable materials and other carcinogens, use personal protective equipment.

Bone meal extract against cancer

Drogov's ASD drug, this product is obtained by thermal decomposition of various materials of animal origin - bone and meat waste, meat and bone meal. During decomposition, the nucleic acids of materials are broken down into low-molecular structures and, freely penetrating into damaged tissues, achieve the desired result. It is used in the form of lotions and taken internally. The body's reaction is not difficult to understand - in fact, it is a dead, denatured protein that needs to be neutralized and removed. Paradoxically, in the early stages of the disease, when there is still something to stimulate, the use of this kind of means can somewhat slow down the oncological process due to the activation of general and local immunity.

Other means

Other types of folk remedies for the treatment of basal cell carcinoma of the face can be prepared according to the following recipes:

  1. Wash and peel fresh carrots. Grate the vegetable and mix. Apply the product as a compress for 2 hours. Along the way, you should drink 200 ml of carrot juice throughout the day.
  2. Dilute 10 g of brewer's yeast in 50 ml of warm water. Leave for 15 minutes, stir. Soak a cotton pad in the liquid and fix it on the tumor. After 1 hour, remove the lotion. Carry out the procedure twice a day.

Types of pathology

Basal cell skin cancer can appear in several varieties. Each of them is characterized by certain features.

The main types of basal cell carcinoma on the face.

  1. Nodular. It is a round, nodular pink spot. Its growth is directed deep into the skin. This type of disease even with minor damage begins to bleed.
  2. Ulcerative. This type of disease is a consequence of the previous one in the absence of treatment.
  3. Large nodular. The neoplasm in this case is a single large-sized node, the growth of which is directed upward.
  4. Flat. The neoplasm in this case manifests itself in the form of plaques, which are distinguished by raised roller-like contours.
  5. Superficial. This appearance is rarely seen on the face. In this case, basalioma develops in the form of a pink spot, which has raised edges and a shiny surface.
  6. Warty. The disease is characterized by numerous nodules in the shape of a hemisphere. They have a dense structure and rise significantly above the surface of the skin. New growths have a light shade.

The superficial type of basal cell carcinoma is considered the safest, since it can develop over many years without causing any discomfort. But during this time, the pathological process gradually develops, affecting tissues and bones, so it is impossible to postpone treatment of any type of basal cell carcinoma, since it is much easier to get rid of the pathology at the very beginning of development. In this case, treatment of basal cell carcinoma with folk remedies is used in combination with drug therapy, which will help stop the pathological process.
