What is wax moth
The main food of insects is bee products - beebread, honey, pollen. They feed on wax, royal jelly, wax. Moth, shashel, moth - these are other names the wax moth has. The only harm the butterfly does is lay eggs in the hive. The greatest damage is caused by wax moth larvae, which:
- eat honey;
- they entangle the honeycombs with cobwebs, preventing the bees from caring for their offspring;
- cause the death of brood;
- Having accumulated useful substances, after a month they turn into pupae;
- Moths emerge from them and do not require food; the reserves are sufficient for their existence.
Official medicine does not recognize that wax moth is a remedy. No pharmaceutical company produces drugs containing larvae, which have high biological activity. Traditional healers and beekeepers have had positive results from treating many ailments with homemade remedies.
Medical science has been researching the healing factor, starting with I. Mechnikov. The benefits of this insect can be read in the works of S. Mukhin. Scientists from academic institutes in Russia and Germany are considering the effect of the moth on the body and note positive results:

Treatment
The healing properties of moth were known back in Ancient Egypt. This remedy has long been used to treat tuberculosis, but this is not the only disease that recedes with the use of drugs based on larvae.
For pulmonary tuberculosis
Of course, the greatest results are shown by the use of moth tincture in the treatment of tuberculosis, so we’ll start with that. Of course, when treating tuberculosis, you should not rely entirely on folk remedies, because nothing can replace real medicines. But you are quite capable of helping your body fight this disease. For this purpose, wax moth-based products are used. An alcohol infusion of such a hive inhabitant is a powerful antiviral and antibacterial agent that has a very wide spectrum of action. Due to the presence of enzymes in the drug that destroy the membrane of tuberculosis bacteria and cause an anti-tuberculosis effect. Also, this remedy allows you to heal tuberculosis cavities in the lungs in the shortest possible time. It is recommended to combine the intake of the extract with drug treatment, this will reduce the load of antibiotics on the body and avoid the occurrence of allergic reactions. By the way, moth extract is an excellent prophylactic agent; it strengthens the body and increases its resistance to tuberculosis infection, as a result of which it does not spread throughout the body and does not create new lesions.
For oncology
This insect is also used in the treatment of cancer. Of course, even this wonderful remedy cannot cure cancer, but the use of such tinctures significantly slows down the growth of tumors, has immunostimulating properties, and strengthens the body after chemotherapy for oncology.
During pregnancy
During pregnancy, it is not recommended to take an alcoholic infusion of moth larvae, but an aqueous extract will be just right. The use of this drug helps reduce the manifestations of toxicosis, corrects placental insufficiency, regulates blood rheology and its microcirculation in the body.
For diabetes
If there is a lack of insulin in the body, moth extract helps in the restoration of pancreatic cells. This remedy significantly reduces blood sugar and stimulates the functioning of the entire body as a whole. In combination with other beekeeping products, this is simply an incredible medicine that really helps in the treatment of diabetes.
For prevention
As already mentioned, medicines containing hive inhabitants have high antibacterial and antiviral properties. Daily use of this tincture will strengthen your immunity for a long time, the body will perform its functions better and you will forever forget about visits to doctors. It is always better to prevent a disease than to treat it, so don’t neglect prevention!
For cancer
In addition to the fact that preparations with the addition of wax moth larvae significantly reduce the growth of tumors in the body, they also help restore tissue after surgery. This is the best remedy recommended for use after operations. The larva also allows you to relieve symptoms and complications after chemotherapy and treatment with strong antibiotics.

I remember when I was a child, in my grandmother’s apiary there was a jar of liquid with larvae floating at the bottom. Whenever I scraped my knee or got hurt, she made a compress with this medicine. Everything healed quickly and the pain stopped. Now I run this apiary and also make a tincture and ointment to treat my loved ones.

I am involved in tourism; I was hiking with friends in Bashkiria. We passed by an apiary and met its energetic owner. We were very surprised when we found out that he was 90 years old - he looked no more than fifty. It turned out that he has been taking an alcoholic extract of bee moths all his life and lubricates his joints with ointment.
The human body is susceptible to more than 2000 diseases. Wax moth tincture is a unique remedy for 300 diseases. You should definitely familiarize yourself with its recipe and healing properties.
The uniqueness of the wax moth larva
The bee moth is often called the golden butterfly, Galleria mellonella. Its larva is the only creature in the world that, thanks to the enzymes produced in its body, is capable of digesting beeswax. With the help of lipase and cerrase, wax moth tincture dissolves all wax-like formations in the human body.
One day, biologist I. Mechnikov drew attention to the larva of a wax moth, since the cell of Koch’s bacillus has a waxy shell. This caterpillar very easily eats the entire contents of the honeycomb, and the eaten wax dissolves. It was this fact that interested the famous scientist.
Having examined this creature, he discovered that cerrase, which was secreted by the larva during its life, is the natural wax solvent. This substance easily dissolves the cell membrane of Koch's bacillus. Thus, it is destroyed without any harm to the body itself. Thanks to his research, the famous biologist helped many people who suffer from this disease.
Beneficial features
The moth and its larvae are the only creatures that are able to digest wax. This happens due to the content in their bodies of a special substance called the cerrase enzyme. By its nature, the tuberculosis bacillus has many similarities with the wax with which honeycombs are impregnated.
This factor led to the use of wax moth tincture for the treatment of tuberculosis. Gradually, experts discovered other beneficial properties of this product.
The beneficial properties of wax moth tincture are the following factors:
- psychotropic effect;
- antiviral effect;
- normalization of the immune system;
- mucoltic effect;
- improvement of metabolic processes in the body;
- harmful effects on bacteria and microbes;
- normalization of blood composition;
- bronchodilator effect;
- elimination of hormonal imbalance;
- beneficial effect on the lymphatic system;
- normalization of hemoglobin levels in the blood;
- rejuvenating effect;
- elimination of deviations in the functioning of the bronchi and lungs;
- antioxidant effect;
- increased vitality;
- improvement of physical and mental performance;
- prevention of atherosclerosis;
- normalization of the heart and blood vessels;
- reducing the risk of blood clots;
- antifungal effect.
Preparation of tincture for PZHVM
Most often, this product is made based on the waste products of wax moths. It must be made from environmentally friendly natural ingredients, strictly observing proportions. This is necessary, since the product primarily mobilizes the immune system of the human body.
A 5% tincture is made with medical alcohol, diluted to 40 degrees with pure artesian water. The waste products of the wax moth, when extracted for 7-14 days in a dark place, become biologically active, which makes the product an indispensable medicine for the human body.
The wax moth tincture will exhibit its medicinal properties only if, after preparation, it smells like expensive whiskey. There should be no foreign impurities.
Medicinal properties of tincture
First of all, wax moth tincture treats tuberculosis. By dissolving the protective wax shell of the Koch stick, the product makes it defenseless; the body easily destroys this stick itself.
With regular use of wax moth tincture, the drainage function of the lungs improves, bronchospasm is eliminated, and breathing is cleared.
Having a waxy nature, cholesterol is deposited on the folds of the walls of blood vessels in the form of fatty formations, and in the kidneys, liver and bladder - in the form of soft stones. Wax moth tincture resolves cholesterol plaques and removes them from the body. This remedy also resolves adhesions.
To summarize, the purpose of wax moth tincture is as follows:
- treatment of bronchopulmonary diseases;
- cardiovascular;
- weakened immune system;
- gynecological;
- diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;
- disorders of higher nervous activity.
It is worth remembering that the product, by cleansing blood vessels, lowers blood pressure. Can be used together with other medicinal drugs. Stored in a dark place for up to 5 years.

Method of preparation and use of tincture
Preparing the tincture
It is quite natural that people are interested in how the tincture from bee moth extract is prepared. This miraculous drug is made by beekeepers themselves. You can do this in several ways:
- Collect larvae (50 grams) that have not yet entered the pupation stage, put them in a dark glass container, fill them with 50 milliliters of 70% alcohol, close them tightly and put them in a cool place. Let the infusion stand for a week, then filter it. The tincture is ready and suitable for use.
- 5 grams of bee moth larvae should be removed from the honeycombs, filled with 50 grams of alcohol and allowed to brew for 10 days. The jar in which the infusion is located must be shaken every day. After this, it is filtered and stored in the refrigerator.
- Take the number of large larvae and alcohol in a ratio of 1:4. The jar should be tightly sealed and placed in a cool place for 3 months. The resulting solution is filtered and used for its intended purpose.
Bee moths should be consumed based on the person’s health status and disease diagnosis. You should definitely consult a doctor to avoid negative consequences.
Review
I have had asthma since childhood. Always have a spray can on hand. I heard good reviews from people about bee moth tincture. I purchased and underwent treatment for a month. There is no need for a spray can.
Irina, Vladimir
The use of bee moth tincture is calculated based on the person’s weight. For 10 kg you should use 3 drops. The product can be used either pure or diluted. For better absorption, it is recommended to hold it in the mouth for a minute. It should be taken 2 times a day half an hour before meals or 1 hour after meals.
On a note!
It is recommended to limit the intake to every other day for two weeks, which will help relieve a person of possible allergic reactions.
How beekeepers make tincture
The easiest way is to purchase ready-made goods from a beekeeper. But first, it’s worth learning the recipe for making wax moth tincture from the very beginning.
For a successful result, you will need a thermal box and burnt honeycomb frames, which beekeepers call drying. A fire should be placed there. But it is worth remembering that wax moths will never live if you put dark honeycomb frames in the box. Therefore, sushi with beebread and honey is placed. This is due to the fact that the wax moth feeds on these bee products (for the first 10 days).
The pieces do not need to be folded in a special way. They rush in a chaotic order. It is likely that a butterfly will already be caught in these honeycomb frames. On the right in the box are old clippings from dark frames, on the left is an empty part. Lastly, caterpillars are placed there.
After 10 days, the beekeeper opens the thermal box and spreads out the bee bread and honey. If everything is done correctly, you can find a large number of caterpillars at the bottom.
They need to be chosen correctly in order to get a high-quality tincture of fireweed:
- Their length should not exceed 15 mm. The smaller the caterpillar, the better for cooking. The optimal length is 8-10 mm.
- Their age should not exceed 10 days. It is at this time that they feed on beebread and honey, so they contain more healing substances than at other sexually mature ages.
Then the caterpillars need to be transferred to another compartment using tweezers (a three-liter jar is suitable for this purpose). Pour alcohol, which kills them immediately.
To ensure that the tincture of wax moth larvae is of the highest quality, special attention should be paid to alcohol:
- Pour ¼ clean artesian water into a three-liter jar.
- Pour pure medical alcohol into a jar of water to obtain an alcohol solution (70%).
If the moth is dissolved in pure alcohol (96%), protein denaturation will occur. If the solution is 40 degrees, then the percentage will be even lower, since the fire itself consists partly of water.
After preparation, it is worth making a 20% tincture, which is the most beneficial for humans. This means that the caterpillars will be exactly one fifth of the total capacity.
Shake and leave for a month to a month and a half. Stir once every two to three days.
Contraindications
If a choice has been made in favor of wax moth tincture, you need to know both the indications and contraindications. Their list is small, but worthy of attention:
- Individual intolerance to bee products, tendency to food allergies. Symptoms are as follows: itching, rash, weakness, headache.
- Inflammatory processes in the pancreas.
- Stomach ulcer.
- Hepatitis in acute form.
- Pregnancy and lactation period.
Treatment with tincture of will wax should not be prescribed to children under 14 years of age. Some doctors lower this age threshold, but such a remedy cannot be prescribed to a very young child.
It is very important to follow the dosage to avoid an allergic reaction. If the body reacts with discomfort, you should stop taking it.
Chemical composition
The composition of wax moth tincture is complex and varied. The product contains many unique components vital for the normal development of the human body . Science knows 28 free amino acids, 20 of which are included in the tincture. The body is not able to replenish some of them on its own, and food or vitamin complexes contain minimal amounts of them.
The wax moth tincture contains the following components:
