In what cases is it not recommended to use lard?

Before using lard for cooking or folk remedies, you should consult with your doctor to exclude all possible contraindications. This product should not be used:

  • in the presence of hepatic and gastrointestinal pathologies;
  • while following a diet;
  • if you need to reduce your caloric intake after surgery or a serious illness;
  • against the background of cholecystitis, pancreatitis, duodenitis, hepatitis, atherosclerosis.
